GENERAL RULES
1. No one liners! We expect you to write a minimum of 300 words. That's not very much, and it'll give enough details to allow other members to give a good response as well. The key is through details, and you should be fine.
2. Proper grammar and spelling are a must.
There is a button on the bottom that says "Spell Check". Click it. For grammar, you need to speak proper English.
3. No Mary/Gary-sues, God-modding or Power playing!
None of these!
Mary/Gary-sues is when you create a character that is perfect with no flaws or weaknesses.
God-modding is when you are invincible, dodging every attack, hitting every time, just not right.
And Power playing is playing someone else's character.
4. On this site, you are expected to write in third person, and in past tense. "I run through the woods and stop, and sit down" just doesn't seem very professional. Third person is to act as the narrator, and play out your characters experience. You are not the character, you are simply explaining what happens. Internal thoughts and dialogue in first person are fine.
5. Swearing is allowed within certain limits. It must be in IC only, and you are expected to be responsible enough to keep it appropriate. Swearing in OOC is also allowed, although directing it towards another player is strictly forbidden. Keep it to a minimum, guys.
6. You can have as many characters as you can be active. If you have fifteen characters and only three are active, you will be asked or told, depending on how often you've been warned, to make your characters active. If you do not comply, we will put them up for adoption. End of story. Please just keep your chars active, and there won't be a problem. And keep your characters on one account. There's no need to create individual accounts for each character. This makes it easy for us and you in keeping things organized.
7. Liquid Time is allowed.
8. Must be 13+; Sorry guys, it's on Proboards TOS.
OOC RULES
1. No fighting with other members, at all. If there is an argument going on in the C-box, please take it to PM. If it does not stop, you may be kicked off the site. Common sense guys.
2. Graphics for your character are allowed, but if you make them please make sure that you have the owners permission to use the photo. It is a ProBoard rule and it is one of our rules too.
3. Please, please, please do not talk in chat speak. Lol and BRB are allowed on the c-box, and other ones like that. But when posting in the OOC boards please don't text-talk. Talk like a normal person.
IC RULES
1. If you have a thread with a large amount of blood/gore, swearing, or sexual acts, please mark your thread with a [M]. Not everyone wants to read about that kind of stuff.
2. Please make sure that all of your posts are at least 300 words, as mentioned above. If not you will be asked to fix it. It's not too hard. If you need help, there is an awesome team of staff members and members who will be willing to help you.
3. If you are infected, your wolf cannot run around and infect everyone's characters. Fighting, yes. It is not that easy to infect a wolf, but you cannot do it without the players permission. No senseless killing. And remember, an infected wolf runs on its baser instincts. It does not track down wolves and kill them. It goes off of immediate scent, sound, and sight.
4. Infected wolves do develop mutations. This can be extra appendages, strange eye colors, strange markings, and growths. One minor mutation is allowed in the beginning, and you will have the option of purchasing additional mutations, to add to your wolf over time, in the shop. Purchases will be reviewed by staff, and bones will be removed from your account in payment. You will then be able to edit your wolf's description with the new mutation, and RP the change.
